Most of what we read about creation involves the physical features of creation. God says, "Let there be light", and light began; it was created, and light was created by the words of God. Some translations state God's words as, "Light be!", and light was created. In either translation, God spoke and things happened; things were created. Things that never had been now became. Earth was created, light, day and night, seasons, water, sky, the stars in the sky, plants, animals, and then when the earth had been prepared, God formed man in His own image. He didn't say "Let there be man." He formed man with His own hands, and then He breathed His breath of life into man. That's quite a difference from every other thing created. God envisioned fellowship with man before He created anything, then He created all of it, the entire universe. When all was ready, He formed man and breathed life into Him, and then fellowship with man began, and it has continued ever since, and will continue for eternity. We are very special to God.
